ELIZABETH GLEESON is an Australian painter & muralist known for bringing patterned artwork that draws upon rich, historical influences, into a fresh, contemporary light. Her characteristically intricate, folk-nouveau style is born from a fascination with symmetry, history, and world-building, with her profoundly immersive artworks and murals in demand internationally.

Bold & bright for Lakes Entrance Primary School

I recently completed this enormous, colourful 73 square metre mural on two walls of a central building at Lakes Entrance Primary School in Victoria, Australia.

The students and teachers love it!!

The brief was to feature native flora & fauna, so using the four animals that represent their school values, I hid their silhouettes amongst the bright flora for the children to explore and discover.

Commissioning a mural is easy!

Who am I?

Hello, I’m Elizabeth.

As a professional muralist and fine artist, I’ve been expertly transforming spaces with my characteristically patterned, folk-nouveau style of artwork in Australia and internationally for many years now.

My passion for creating beautifully detailed & nostalgic artworks has resulted in a style that has become uniquely recognisable; whether it’s on canvas or a multi-storey building.

I’ve loved working with many different types of clients over the years, with my artwork bringing a vibrant splash of beauty and colour to their spaces and immersive experiences for their own clients, students and the community.

I’d love you to get in touch if you have a project to discuss or a collaboration idea.
